Ticket feature: Events center hosting horse training clinic Clovis News Journal
RFD-TV’s Les Vogt, Terra Champion in cow horse reining, will be teaching a clinic at the Curry County Special Events Center.
The general is invited to watch as Vogt takes 17 horses and their riders through the two-day clinic.
The specially of the clinic is to help riders and their horses learn to work as partners in a trusting relationship to accomplish a common goal.
The clinic, hosted by the All Breed Horse Show Association, a local nonprofit, will be held Stride 26 and 27, offering full day demonstrations and classes.
Though the clinic slots are sold out, there are an unlimited tot up of spots left to audit the clinic for $20 per day.
The following day there will be a working ranch horse striving sponsored by Joe’s Boot Shop, the All Breed Horse Show Association and Total Equine where riders will upon a cow at the end of the arena, rate and turn back a cow in a specified area, then rope and stop a cow.
There will also be concessions and vendors on pass on selling clothing, jewelry, tack and other items.
